Moskito Diving was established back in 1987
"When diving was dangerous and sex was safe", as
our t-shirts state. Back then, diving around Phi Phi was nearly
impossible and a major adventure for the few who tried. However
one persistent Austrian refused to give up, right up until
the point where he had to build his own shop, "Moskito
Diving", to go diving. Being the first dive shop to recognize
the underwater beauty around Phi
Phi Island and having gained many years of experience
of local
dive sites, we are proud to offer our customers
unequalled service and satisfaction.

Since 1987 Moskito has grown from a small
wooden shack to a large self sufficient PADI 5 Star IDC Centre.
We are able to cater for the novice to the very experienced
diver. You can even try diving before you commit to a course
in our unique indoor training pool. Our facilities now extend
to offer 4 fully equipped classrooms, over 40 sets of rental
scuba units, a repair workshop with qualified technicians
and three dive boats ranging from a 26 meter liveaboard
to our 20 and
16 meter custom day trip boats and speedboat.

As a PADI 5 Star IDC Centre S-16871 we have
the most highly qualified team of staff on the Island consisting
of 6 Instructors
teaching in English, Japanese,
Dutch, Swedish, Spanish, French and Thai. Their knowledge
and skills assure your safety and enjoyment as a paramount
feature of your diving holiday.

As a PADI Resort Centre we can arrange your
whole stay on Phi
Phi Island to include, transfers, sightseeing tours,
diving holidays including diving
courses, day
trips and liveaboard trips. Whether you are a solo
traveller or a group booking, we will be able to assist you.
If you are still wondering why call a dive shop after a small
insect that bites, it's actually named after a small island
off the north side of Phi Phi Don, "Koh Yung" (Moskito
Island), but then again once you are bitten by the diving
bug you can probably think of another reason too.
